it doesn't stop in chicago.

Yes, its all about to happen again. 7 inches of snow by tomorrow!

You all know what that means, its all about nerding it up when times are cold.
Which means I'll update you on some things, I know I'm a little behind, but hey, I've got stuff to do, well sometimes.

Psp 3.90 firmware update is now up, and that update includes...yes SKYPE! Which means you'll be able to make psp to psp phone calls, psp to landlines and psp to pc. You do need 2 things to do this, well 3 if you count the update. You need the psp remote, and the psp headphones that has a headset on it. They're 2 seperate entities right now, but from what sony said, they'll have a bundle including both soon. So guess what, get it so you can call me on your psp. YEAH. Take that iphone.

I'll put pics up later, since I'm updating from my handy sidekick lx.

--lastly, everyone should go to funky buddha lounge tonight, Check-it from Chicago Tribe is getting recognized for what he's done for the chicago hip hop community, and he's done a whole lot. City vs city! See everyone there.

FFVII Crisis Core

So, if you've been all about Final Fantasy VII, then you must know that Crisis Core is due in march for the PSP. I'm definitely pre-ordering it, i'm actually going to do it in a couple minutes after writing this.

There is a perk to pre-ordering it, you get a cool looking Shin-ra UMD case. Something all FF geeks should have. so...PRE ORDER IT NOW . that is all.

lastly, i'd love to leave with this amazing video . have fun !

Heatwave

So we finally got to experience beach weather in chicago today. it hit an overall high of 40 degrees at one point today, and we all know i was all about the warm weather.

If you guys don't know, the Marc by Marc Jacobs store just opened in wicker park, lots of expensive goodies there, should be a definite check out for all you stressed out people looking to shop your worries away.

Oh did i forget to mention St. Alfred's sale that ended on sunday? whoops, well look our for thier new stuff this week, i probably won't but you know, st. alfred's is always a fun place to see all the super cool people.

Ehh. i guess i have nothing very interesting to share, but i'll leave with telling people that Molly's Cupcakes in lincoln park has the best cupcakes in the world. period. well, i guess it doesnt make sense that i'm writing period, and using the actual . but i think you get what i'm trying to say. Red velvet cupcakes are THE GREATEST. the end. see all of you later.

Dance War? yeah right...

More like POPSTAR war. Even carrie ann said after her first group's performance, "my group doesn't have to step it up with dancing, they have thier stage presence and performance to rely on." or something along those lines. she said they didn't need dancing. EXCUSE ME. isn't this called . DANCEwar? uggh.. it's a major slap in the face to real dancers trying to make it, i'm not hating on any individual at all, i think everyone on the show is extremely talented in what they do. More power to the people trying to make it on those shows that only want ratings. Then again, that's what the higher-ups do to us anyway, use us for what we're good for and underpay us, or just tell us we'll be on TV and thats enough.

IT IRRITATES THE HELL OUT OF ME.

this show sucks. This show is the result of american idol and so you think you can dance, having a fucked up babychild. it turned out to be DanceWar.

anyways, if you want to see real dancers go at it, get ready for May 2008. Chicago Tribe has something for everyone to look forward to.

The City of wind

Yeah. it's cold, freezing cold, welcome to Chicago baby. Aside from all the coldness i've been very productive playing Call of Duty for on Xbox360, and i'd like to admit it's taken over my life. If it hasn't taken over yours yet, it will, and you need to buy it today while its still cold as hell outside, that way you have an excuse to stay in.
For all you people that hasn't downloaded Rhymefest's new mixtape, i'm going to say it again. DOWNLOAD IT. you're missing out on one of the hottest.
It's cold as hell where i am right now, so i'll end it off with leaving you guys with this video, produced by koneerok.

Man in the Mirror

The Boredom of life pushed me towards making a blog. i think of it more as another way to tell everyone how to be cool like me. ( thats a joke, but really, i'm cool i swear!)

ANYWAY... When i was at Koneerok's apt the other day he was playing Fest's new mixtape, i found myself jamming to the music and saying how dope every track was. I felt it was something everyone needed to hear, and when i found out it was FREE for download. i said screw it, i'm telling everyone!

Rhymefest's "Michael Jackson dedication album" produced by Mark Ronson is by far one of the best things i've heard this year.

From the hilarious skits with Fest and Michael Jackson to the hot ass tracks like, "Breakadawn" and "Foolin' Around." I haven't listened to a CD from beginning to end in a while, and this is one of the CD's i've had on repeat for a while.

everyone needs to download it, its FREE!! mixtape love baby. it's at http://www.rhymefeststore.com/ in the mixtape section.

or you can download it directly here.

-- oh yeah, Rhymefest has a show this Friday at the Metro, he's going to be performing songs from "Man in the Mirror" and his upcoming album "El Che." its gonna be HOT, plus Chicago Tribe is performing the same set they did at Lollapalooza, why would you want to miss that?
